The Popular Show Campaign 4 Introduces the Soldiers Party

Heads-up: Spoilers for Episode 3 of Campaign 4 follow below.

The Soldiers Table Introduced

Episode 3 finished on a huge suspense moment and presented the first table of characters who will split off from the primary party to undertake their separate journey, distinct from the other two tables.

This warrior group features Teor Pridesire (played by Travis), the nimble rogue (the talented performer), the fierce warrior (Whitney Moore), the cleric (Sam Riegel), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie).

Why Split the Party?

Given 13 cast members, it was evident from the beginning that maintaining everyone at the same party would be unfeasible.

This explains, the initial installments of the new season serve as an Introduction, intertwining the individual narratives before splitting into three smaller tables: Fighters, Schemers, and Explorers.

Characteristics of the Warrior Group

Per Brennan Lee Mulligan, the combat-focused party is for adventurers who are drawn to a traditionally charged fight-heavy story mode where peaceful solutions are few and far between.

Initially, figures such as the reluctant priest Wicander might appear out of place, but the actions of the third episode show why these specific adventurers are best suited for the Soldiers table.

Reasons to Leave

For one thing, the team knows exactly where to head next after a brutal opening clash with the antagonists.

A former ally of the deceased character—whose demise started the narrative’s action—exploited the enemy for his personal gain, entering Thjazi’s hideout, striking the character, and stealing all the powerful objects to dispose of.

Casimir then settled his liabilities and ran away to a Halovar stronghouse in Gormalay, Timmony, north of the city, with Cyd Pridesire pursuing him.

Character Drivers

Secondly, each member has a specific drive to exit the urban setting:

  • Thimble, as Thjazi’s partner and best friend, desires vengeance.
  • Kattigan knows Timmony and advises that it is a dangerous place.
  • Tyranny and Wicander, having resisted his relatives’ demands to kill the target and instead freed him, have no safe haven.
  • However, their reputation as prominent individuals in the powerful family could assist the team enter locations they normally couldn’t.
  • Furthermore, The grateful character swore a eternal obligation to The savior for his deliverance and will now follow him wherever.

Fugitives

In addition, all of them are hunted by the authorities that control the city for a multiple motives, making staying in the city dangerous:

  • The rogue and The character are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The warrior and The healer defied the powerful family and the horde of evil beings they are allied with.
  • The fighter is targeted for elimination by House Halovar.

This results in them few options but to journey toward Timmony in search of the traitor.
